January This and That
Random, you like random right?
I do!
K got Rapunzel hair for Christmas. The crazy thing is look how closely it matches her hair! If it weren't for those few gold streaks I could really believe it was her true hair. At least now I know what she would look like with long old hair, that is if she could ever manage to grow it out that long. It's taken us almost four years just to get what we have!
New Years Eve we never party much over here. I did hop over to the dollar store and pick up some cheapo fancy cups to drink our bubbly with! That, some muddy buddies, and Papa Murphy's made up our evening. We invited Granny over, played a few games, watched the ball drop on Eastern time and were all in bed by 11.
Party animals.
But hey it was a good night and nobody was grouchy the next day.
Works for me.
These moments just have to be documented when they are all playing happily with each other, no fighting, no whining, no name calling.
Even if K is in the middle of picking her nose.
Hey it's not all perfect around here:)
Luke got himself lots of drawing and arts and craft stuff for Christmas.
He loves to draw and is so detail orientated it kills me.
One of his therapists once told us kids with a loss in one of their senses causes their other senses to go into overdrive to compensate.
I totally believe that, the details this kid can come up with is amazing.
Cute boy, I love him.
My heck....puddle....me on the floor.
Sisters in matching jams, really does it come any cuter?
I am pretty sure this scene is the same in lots of households across the country. Frozen. We are so wrapped up in it, it's crazy. Miss K watches Elsa belt out "Let it Go" on constant repeat over here. Every word is memorized, she got the castle for Christmas. The dress ups are on here birthday list and maybe if we are lucky the movie will be out by then to buy. Regardless this was a pretty cute moment when the girls treated us to a concert of Let it Go on Caroline's blessing luncheon.
Lance got this basketball hoop for Christmas and he plays on it hour after hour after hour. He will try and talk Luke into a one on one game. Jazz vs. Heat. Luke generally could care less and more often than not Lance just plays against himself. He doesn't seem to mind, man he has a basketball obsession. Especially since Junior Jazz started once again.
Oh Rapunzel let down your hair!
My sister in law is opening up an Etsy shop for little girl bows.
She has named a few of the bows after her nieces.
This here is the Katelynn.
And the Caroline.
I think they are pretty darn adorable and can't wait to buy some from her when her shop opens.
Of course the little girls they are named after are pretty darn cute too!
Martin Luther King day was pretty slow going around here.
But we did make lots of snowflakes to hang on our backdoor.
That and a date with Granny to McDonald's made up our day.
January has been good to us!

Ten on Ten: January 2014-
I know the tenth was 12 days ago:)
Christmas down, Valentines up.....holiday decor just makes me happy.
Oh happy day, one more pair of pants from the pre baby side of my closet fit, still about ten more to go.
Why does it take so long to lose that baby weight?
But on the bright side comfy socks are the best on cold winter days.
The Christmas toys are still keeping little people occupied every single day.
The princesses all have a new home inside Elsa's castle.
Man alive it's cold and dreary out there.
She eats on average 3 cutie oranges a day and 2 apples a day.
Girl likes her fruit.
Boys are sitting up for a big basketball game.
Jazz vs. Heat.
Jazz one, Heat lost interest after five minutes.
Jazz was not happy with the forfeit.
The Heat was more interested in playing games with K and George.
Very silly but while I was running on the treadmill, I got a bit preoccupied with this movie.
Pearl Harbor.
Good way to end a good day.
Youngest with the oldest having a little heart to heart before bedtime.
Being a mom is the very best when you get moments like this.

December Instagram
I think poor Bernard is a bit overwhelmed with having four kids to watch now to. Poor guy completely forgot today was the 1st, kids were so disappointed he wasn't there first thing this morning. Finally showed up after church with a note saying the skies were busy with flying elves and he was delayed! Not off to a great start Bernard!
He's exhausted from a 12 hour bishopric day, she's exhausted from a 12 hour sleeping day.
It's that time of year....hello Santa!
Nativity gingerbread...I adore these girls. So does K she thinks she is an honorary activity days girl.
Bless this girl....she's finally found some good sleep patterns.
For a baby that loves to be held this Solly wrap saves my life. I can cook, eat and cleanup dinner all while she sleeps.
A surprise visit from Grandma and Sydney. We will take it!
A date tonight...a reason to get dressed up. Gosh it feels good, now if only Caroline can keep the spit up at bay!
Want to know what was going on while I was feeding the baby? These two gathered every stuffed animal they could find and gave them a bubble bath in cologne. My house stinks, they stink, I stink...now they are hiding the evidence in the washing machine.
Santa Claus is coming to town!
Plans got cancelled thanks to the snow.....but I'm no hating the alternative!
Love them.
Off to support our Utah Jazz!
Christmas shopping with my best girlfriend!
It's her sixth week birthday and she's been smiling!
Christmas party chaos!
Christmas Crunch!!! I gave them half a banana too, does that make the sugar breakfast a little better?
Morning smiles for dad!
Present ready, hot chocolate bar ready, pajamas on...she was ready and waiting for her "actibity day gels". Cutest thing to hear her say it.
Not many days left for Christmas stories:(
It's a snow falling, Christmas movie watching, pajama hot chocolate kind of day...and you see my few presents wrapped under the tree? It's a start!
She's kinda liked!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Grandpa and two of his girls!
Each of my kids have different wrapping paper to make it easier for me. See all the white printer paper wrapped presents? Those are to George from Luke:) What will become of our family when George is no longer a part of it.
Grandma and Grandpa with lots of their grand kids and great grand kids. Beautiful morning...
Someone is so over Christmas, grumpy as all get out and forcing us to make fools of ourselves to get smiles out of her. Sweet Caroline she is not tonight.....
Headed to the movies!
It would be a telescope for my little astronomer....
Marble roller coaster, look how happy he is!
Happy New Year!
